About Dr. Mélodie de Haas
Dr. de Haas was born and raised in Cumberland, Ontario. Both her parents (and one of her sisters) are chiropractors, therefore, she has always been surrounded by health and wellness. Naturally, chiropractic became a passion for her at a young age.

Dr. de Haas is also passionate about sports including volleyball, sailing, paddleboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, tennis and pickle ball. She also enjoys working out and practicing yoga. Some of her other hobbies are travelling, cooking, reading, and crochet!
Chiropractic Background
Dr. de Haas graduated in June 2023 from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where she obtained her chiropractic degree. The doctorate consists of 245 theory and practical credits, with a 2 year clinical internship at the university's chiropractic clinic. During her schooling, she attended many chiropractic seminars to advance her knowledge on certain techniques and research within the field. Therefore, Dr. de Haas is certified in the Thompson Terminal technique as well as the COX flexion-distraction decompression technique.

Dr. de Haas spent her first year in practice providing chiropractic locums (replacements) to established doctors between Ottawa and Toronto. In her first year, Dr. de Haas gained tremendous experience working in 20 different clinics applying different techniques and treating a wide range of conditions. She has decided to settle down in her home town to serve the people of Orléans, where she is joining her family's practice!
Dr. de Haas adapts her care depending on the patient's needs and preferences using different techniques to perform the chiropractic adjustment. She varies between manual adjustments, drop table adjustments, Activator and Arthrostim adjustments. She also provides other services like flexion-distraction decompression technique for disc-related injuries and advanced arthritic conditions, pediatric care (as young as newborns!) and care for pregnant women. Her practice serves the needs of entire families!
